Graveside services for Dennis E. Fuller, 67, of Gainesville are set for 10 a.m. Monday at Fairview Cemetery,
with Gene Davenport, Church of Christ minister, officiating. Burial is under the direction of Geo. J. Carroll &
Son Funeral Home.
Mr. Fuller died Aug. 17, 2007, at his residence.

He was born Sept. 26, 1939, in Gainesville to James David and Daisy Lee Thomas Fuller. On Nov. 2, 1962, he
married Glenda Faye Jewett in Gainesville.

He graduated from Gainesville High School in 1958 and was a five-year veteran of the Texas Army National
Guard. He was a conductor on the Santa Fe Railroad, retiring after 43 years of employment. He enjoyed
riding his Harley and watching drag racing. He was a member of the Commerce Street Church of Christ.

Survivors include his wife of Gainesville; son and daughter-in-law Eddie C. and Michelle Fuller of Gainesville;
daughters and sons-in-law Pattie Jean and Mark Hellinger of Gainesville and Frankie Sue and Tim Emerson
of Houston; daughter Kathy DeaAnn Shaw of Gainesville; brother and sister-in-law bobby and Kay Fuller of
Valley View; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father on Jan. 6, 1997, his mother on Sept. 1, 2000, and by a brother,
Johnny David Fuller, in 1996.

Graveside services for Shannon Howard, 46, of Gainesville (formerly of Bentonville, Arkansas) will be 11 a.
m. Monday, August 29th at New Rest Haven Cemetery with Rev. Rick Isham, Pastor of Vilott Baptist Church
officiating. Visitation will be 9:30 – 11:00 a.m. Monday at Clement-Keel Funeral Home.

Mrs. Howard was born January 16, 1965 in Gainesville, Texas. She died Tuesday, August 23, 2011 in
Callisburg. She worked as an Office Manager for United Way and was a homemaker.

Survivors of Shannon Howard include her husband, Buddy James Howard, Jr. of Callisburg; daughter, Lacey
Nicole Clayton of Fort Worth; sons, Joshua Garrett Paul of Callisburg and Justin Lee Howard of Cameron,
Oklahoma; grandson, Donathan Bryce Howard; father, Richard Fuller of San Angelo, mother, Patricia Berry
of Callisburg; sister, Jacquetta Surratt of Callisburg; brother, Randy Fuller of Rogers, Arkansas; nieces,
Crystal Tuggle and Heather Fuller and nephews, Toby Surratt and Cody Fuller. She was preceded in death by
a brother, Dennis E. Fuller.

COLLINSVILLE — Memorial services for "Ironhead" Earnest Dwayne Garner, 78, of Collinsville are set for 10
a.m. Saturday, Dec. 4, 2010 at Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home, with the Rev. Jerry Davis officiating. A
visitation will be held at the funeral home this evening, Dec. 3, from 6 to 8 p.m.

Ironhead was born on Nov. 23, 1932 in Circle Back to Earnest Elmer and Ruby Damron Garner. He passed
away at his residence on Nov. 30, 2010.
Dwayne loved to hunt and fish. He graduated from Gainesville High School in 1952 and then served four
years in the U.S. Navy as a sea bee. He worked for Santa Fe Railroad for 42 years, serving as local chairman
for 17 years. Dwayne married Arlena Pond in Mule Shoe on Aug. 6, 1994.

Ironhead is survived by his wife, Arlena Garner of Collinsville; son, Ken Garner of Lewisville; son, Kerry
Garner of Lindsay; sister, Marilyn Christiansen of Gainesville; brother, Bill Garner of Midlothian; sister, Doris
Richardson of Keller; seven grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Janice Garner; son, Kyle Garner and his parents.

Leona Gentry, 50, of Midland passed away Friday, January 6, 2012, in Midland. The family will receive
friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Tuesday, January 10, 2012 at the funeral home. Funeral services will be
held at 10:00 am, Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Chapel. Interment will follow at
Resthaven Memorial Park.

Leona was born August 26, 1961, in Gainesville, Texas to TyLora and Elmer Garrison. She married Danny
Gentry on October 15, 1983 in Gainesville. She worked for over 20 years as a bookkeeper for Big D and
Manor Park.

Survivors include husband, Danny Gentry of Midland; two sons, Bryan Gentry and wife Stefanie and Michael
Gentry; one grandson, Jonah; brothers, Ralph Garrison, Rudolph Garrison and Billy Garrison and sister, Lona
Martin, all of Gainesville, TX.

David William Galubenski, 61 of Denton, passed away on Friday,
September 5, 2014 at his home. He was born November 23, 1952 in
Gainesville, TX to Felix (Murphy) and Margaret (Johnson) Galubenski. He
was a self-employed Contractor and Roofer. He attended the University
of North Texas. He was married to Denise Dickson on January 3, 1993 in
Las Vegas, Nevada. He was a member of the Charis Fellowship.
Mr. Galubenski is survived by his wife, Denise of Denton, daughters,
Jennifer Galubenski Webb and husband Brandon of Houston, Heather
Conner and husband Chris of Denton, son Christopher McKinney and
fiance Brittany Rayney of Denton, his mother Margaret Galubenski, and
brother Charles Galubenski of Gainesville, and Six Grandchildren and a
host of other family members.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 9, 2014 from 6 P.M. until
a funeral service on Wednesday, September 10, 2014 at 11 a.m. in the
Chapel of Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home. With Dr. Larry Reynolds,
officiating. Graveside service will be held at 3 P.M. Wednesday at the

Deven Reid Garrett, 25, a produce manager, went to be with our Lord Monday, February 1, 2016 in
Oklahoma.

Memorial service is 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 9, 2016, at Gainesville VFW Post 1922, 3332 N. Grand
Ave. (FMR 372) Gainesville, TX 76240.

Deven was born on May 31, 1990 to Stephen Moseley and Lisa Garrett at Carswell Air Force Base in
Fort Worth, Texas. He graduated from Gainesville High School on his 18th birthday. Deven was a
member of the Varsity Tennis team where he trained with coach Jeff Gerkin.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Paul and Hilda Garrett.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his mother, Lisa Garrett of Decatur; his father, Stephen
Moseley of Fort Worth; his sisters, Jessica of Sweden and Nicole of Durant, Oklahoma; his brother,
Brandon of Gainesville; his grandparents, Bill and Beverly Moseley of Weatherford, Texas; his

Funeral services for Willie Maurece Claunch, 93, of Gainesville, are
scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at Geo. J.
Carroll & Son Funeral Home with Dr. Bennie Slack officiating. Interment
will follow at Fairview Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00
to 2:00 p.m. prior to the service.

Mrs. Claunch passed away December 3, 2016 in Gainesville.

Willie was born April 28, 1923 in Whitesboro to A.B. and Diamond (Cox)
Garvin. She graduated from Gainesville High School, where she played
trumpet in the marching band. Willie, along with other members of her
family, participated in the Gainesville Community Circus in various
capacities. She met Master Sergeant William A. Claunch, Jr. while she
was working at First State Bank, and the two were wed on March 3, 1943
in Gainesville. Mrs. Claunch also worked at the ASCS Office and the Girl’s
State School. She enjoyed playing golf and bridge, and traveling with her
husband.

Survivors include: son William Garvin Claunch and his wife Jenny of
McKinney; daughter Jeanne Ann Hummer of LaMirada, CA; son David
Claunch and his wife Kay of Valley View; grandchildren: Erik, Ashlee,
Christopher, and Gina; and five great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Claunch was preceded in death by: her parents; husband; and sister
Alvah Belle McWilliams.

Memorial may be made to: Home Hospice of Cooke County, First Baptist
Church of Gainesville, or a charity of one’s choosing.

Vincent St. Clair Fuess, 52, formerly of Dallas, TX passed away unexpectedly on
February 15, 2018 at his home in Nashville, MI. He was born on April 28, 1965 to
Burnett and Patricia (Smith) Fuess in Dallas, TX. The family moved to Lake Kiowa
and he graduated from Gainesville High School, he furthered his education at TSTI.
He began Karate when he was young and worked his way to a black belt in American
Kenpo. He began a lifelong love with dirt bike riding in his teens. With his nephew,
John, they acquired, fixed, and resold many dirt bikes together….it was one of his
many great joys in life.

Vince loved to read, build models of WWII tanks and planes, and woodworking
projects, beginning as a teen with his dad. During his life he went into the family
business, Joiner-Meade-Capers doing sales and marketing. After leaving, he stayed
in the sales field with various companies. Retiring 2 years ago, he started on his
many home projects.

Vincent is survived by his wife, Karen Nemeth-Fuess; brothers, David (Natasha)
Fuess, of Rock, MI, Kevin (Penny) Fuess, of Trophy Club, TX, Mark (Diane) Fuess, of
Bedford, TX, Paul Fuess, of Rowlett, TX; sisters-in-law, Temple Wynne of
Wimberley, TX, Tina Rogers Fuess of Rowlett, TX; many beloved nephews, nieces,
and cousins. His closest compadres being his nephew, John; cousin, Sam; and his
best friend since 2nd grade, David (Janie) Mathias, Post Oak, TX; Christopher Bost,
of OK; two step-sons, Chris Smith of Mt. Pleasant, MI, Caleb Cornell of Middleville,
MI; and step-grandson, Brennan. He was predeceased by both of his parents; his
infant sister; and a brother, Lawrence.

Memorial services will be held in Texas on April 28, 2018 and one in Michigan on May

Garrett, Donald M. Age 74, passed away Sunday, November 3, 2013 at home in
Red Oak, TX. Born in Slidell, TX to K.D. & Emaline Garrett, he graduated from
Gainesville High School. Don & Barbara raised their girls in Duncanville, where
they lived for 40 years before retiring to Gainesville & moving to Red Oak when
he became ill to be closer to their children and grandchildren. He was a long time
employee of Ahlfinger Water Company in Dallas, owned by cherished friends, the
Ahlfinger family. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Lori Garrett
Johnston, infant daughter, Kim Garrett & brother, Larry Garrett. He is survived
by the love of his life, wife of 56 years, Barbara Shafer Garrett; daughters, Kathy
Garrett Moore (Merrel), & Donna Garrett (Jenna Ostberg); grandchildren, Garrett
Padgett, Ryan Padgett Vines (Tim), Alaine Johnston, Jessica Johnston-Baker
(Justin); great-grandchildren, Taylor Johnston, Derrick Wise, Jr., Lori Wise &

married Peggy Gonzalez on September 23, 1992 in Gainesville. He enjoyed fishing, outdoor cooking,
and spending time with his treasured family.

Survivors include: wife Peggy Garrison of Gainesville; son Samuel Garrison and wife Melinda of
Gainesville; daughter Monique Hamel and husband Scott Jr. of Sherman; son Andrew Garrison and wife
